Founder, Co-owner, all around diva.

Laura was born to dance and perform. She has been doing her whole life and has a gift for sharing her vast knowledge enthusiastically. Laura selflessly shares her vast knowledge with humor, sass and detail and is one of Chicago’s elite female Salsa dancers. Be sure to check out any class she’s teaching and expect to be satisfied when you leave. Also, make sure you watch her perform, she’s amazing!

Creative guru, Co-owner, technician.

Del is passionate about figuring things out and refining them to the best of his ability. This goes with his dancing, his art and his teaching. Known as a refined dancer and meticulous instructor, Del’s mission is to make MMA the go-to destination for higher learning in social Latin dance. He prides himself in getting his students to break through barriers and acheive their true potential.

The lovely and talented Denisse Aldana is a homegrown MMA dancer. With her hard work and dedication, she has risen through the ranks from dancing on the Mixed Motion Art Semi-Pro Dance company to now being a principal member of our professional team. Denisse has developed a strong understanding of the MMA technique and is a valuable asset to our team.

The stylist.

Michelle has a diverse dance background and brings her sass and skill to MMA. She’s a principal member of the MMA Pro Company and is currently running our long-running Ladies Performance Class at MMA. She’s a valuable member of our staff and is a great resource for the ladies out there who need guidance on how to make their movements fun, flirty and fabulous!

Freddy “Fresh” has done it all, teacher, performer, social dancer and now…one of the most sought after DJ’s in Chicago for Salsa music! In no time flat, Freddy has become a featured DJ at the annual (and awesome) Salsa/Bachata festival as well as blessing dance floors throughout Chicago with his awesome music sets. Don’t miss a chance to hear him play!

Who’s chocolate and black and loves playing catch? It’s Macho! He’s been at MMA since he was four months old and he loves nothing more than meeting new friends and greeting old buddies. If you meet him, be sure to extend your hand to let him sniff you and verify your payment. 😉 He’e the official happiness consultant at MMA!
